Findvex started as a side project. We were running a small portfolio of local service sites and getting quoted $3,000–$10,000/month for SEO retainers. Every proposal looked the same: an army of junior analysts running through a templated checklist, paying themselves with our retainers and leaving us with quarterly slide decks.
We knew the work. We had run agencies before. So we built a small set of AI agents to do the boring 90%: scrape competitors, propose keyword maps, write first drafts, audit Core Web Vitals, monitor backlinks. Within three months, our own properties were outranking sites paying ten times what we were spending on tooling.
The economics were embarrassing for the industry. We could deliver agency-quality work at a fraction of the price — if we kept humans on strategy and reviewed every output. So we opened it up.
